Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education, School District 7, Wood Dale, DuPage County, Illinois, hereinafter known as Owner, is seeking bids for D7 Secure Entries Renovation - Oakbrook and Wood Dale JHS (Summer 2024) located in Wood Dale, Illinois.
Lump Sum Bids will be publicly opened and read at the District Offices of District 7, 543 N. Wood Dale Rd., 60191, at 9:00 a.m., on November 30, 2023.
Bids received after the designated time and date of bid opening will not be considered. Bidders must comply with all of the requirements set forth in the Project Manual.
Bidding Documents will be available on November 2, 2023, and may be obtained from BHFX Imaging, 80 W. Seegers Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60005, and (847) 593-3161, arlington@bhfx.net. and www.bhfxplanroom.com. Payment and delivery arrangements should be made through BHFX Imaging.

Welcome to the Business Department
Steve Wilt, Chief School Business Official
Mr. Steve Wilt has served as the Chief School Business Official (CSBO) at Wood Dale School District 7 since June 2017. Before taking this position, Mr. Wilt was a chemistry and physics teacher for fifteen years, working at Huntley High School, Greenwich High School (CT), and Highland High School (IL). Before becoming a teacher, Mr. Wilt worked in the pharmaceutical industry in sales. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Bensenville-Wood Dale Food Pantry and the Executive Committee for the School Employees Loss Fund (SELF), a Worker's Compensation Cooperative for 85 Illinois school districts.
Message from the Business Department:
The mission of the Wood Dale District 7 Business Department is to best utilize the resources available to District 7 to provide a safe and effective learning environment for students and staff. Our goal is to report district financial activities in a way that can be easily understood by members of the public.
The tabs on the left of the page will take you to numerous documents related to the finances of the school district. The section entitled “Recent Announcements” contains time-sensitive information regarding financial activities in the district. This tab also has links to educational resources designed to help members of the public better understand school finances.
