Community Curriculum Advisory Council
In 2004, District 7 established the Community Curriculum Advisory Council (CCAC). The purpose of the Council is to provide on-going two-way communication between the community and school district regarding curriculum issues. Topics may include curriculum adoptions, implementations and mandates; special programming for students, such as special education, reading intervention, English Language Learners, and gifted; technology; items that relate to the No Child Left Behind law; and grants. The CCAC is made up of two parents from each school which are chosen by the PTO, a representative from the Board of Education, community members and administrators. If you have any questions or comments about CCAC, please contact Elvia Villalobos, Curriculum Director, at 630-595-9510.
