WDJH FUTURE CITY TEAM ON A WINNING STREAK
Despite the continuing challenges COVID presented this year, the Wood Dale Junior High Future City Team competed in the Chicago Regional/State Competition for the seventh time and won FIRST PLACE, which earned them a spot in the International Finals representing Illinois. The team, comprised of 17 seventh- and eighth-grade students, worked for over six months and were tasked with designing a waste-free city using the principles of a circular economy. In both the state and international competition, the team won several awards:
